Sedalia, MO – For the second year in a row, Team Lapua members Joe Besche, Maddisyn Reed, and Brian Brandt claimed the overall top three places at the American Rimfire Association (ARA) Tournament held at the Benchrest Rifle Club of St. Louis in Wright City, Missouri.
Congratulations to Lapua’s Joe Besche for winning the ARA Club Tournament using Lapua Midas + rimfire ammunition. Besche, who averaged 2,175 per target, had an overall score of 13,050 out of a possible 13,800. Second place went to fellow Team Lapua member Maddisyn Reed with a score of 13,025. Brian Brandt finished third with a score of 13,000.
Maddisyn Reed stated, “It was awesome to see the team take the podium at the tournament for the second year in a row! It was a tight finish between the three of us and it was really awesome to see Joe come out on top. He is such an incredible competitor and comrade to our sport, he’s a blessing to me, and I am so thankful that I have him.”
The powerhouse team will compete later this month at the Triple Crown in Bristol, VA.
