Sedalia, MO – Congratulations to Team Vihtavuori member Ian Klemm on being crowned the 2020 F-TR Long Range National Champion this past weekend.

The F-Class Championship took place October 25th – November 2nd at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix, AZ. Hosted by the Desert Sharpshooters Rifle Club, the 2020 Nationals attracted 180 F-TR and F-Open competitors from across the country shooting at distances of 600 yards (Mid-Range) and 1,000 yards (Long Range).

Klemm loads Vihtavuori N150 propellant in a Lapua .308 Winchester (required F-TR cartridge) with Berger 200.20X Hybrid Target bullets. He fired an aggregate score of 1561-56x, besting the closest competitor by six points.

“I didn’t think it could get any better than N140 for long range shooting with a 308, but then I tried N150. It’s, hands-down, the most temperature insensitive powder I’ve ever competed with.  When combined with the Berger 200.20X bullet, N150 is a real advantage for accuracy enthusiasts,” commented Klemm.
