Sedalia, MO – Congratulations to Team Lapua’s Keith Trapp winning the F-Class Target Rifle (F-TR) category at the 2022 Southwest Nationals, sponsored by Berger Bullets. Trapp also won the SWN in 2019. Shooting with his .308 chambered, 700-platform rifle, Keith won the High-Master class with a Grand Aggregate score of 1233-62X. Trapp was also the coach of winning squad, Team USA F-TR Blue.
The Southwest Nationals, sponsored by Berger Bullets took place February 9-13th at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix, AZ with 350 competitors. The Southwest Nationals is hosted by the Desert Sharpshooters Rifle Club and is the “must-attend” event for competitive long-range shooters around the world. The SWN features F-Open, F-TR, and Sling disciplines. Competitors from over 9 different countries were in attendance.

F-Class Target Rifle (F-TR) category has strict requirements of a “ready-to-go” rifle weighing no more than 18-lbs. Chambers are required to be unmodified and use a standard .308/7.62 NATO or .223/5.56 NATO.
