In its inaugural year, the Vudoo-Lapua BulletPro 150 match brings two classes of benchrest competition together to introduce an all-new benchrest venue to the competitive rimfire shooting world. Taking place August 1st at the Buck Creek Range in Somerset, KY, shooters may choose to compete in the Unlimited or Factory Classes.
The BulletPro 150 is the culmination of three parallel paths in the rimfire world; Ivan Wells, Vudoo Gun Works and Lapua. Ivan Wells, a well-accomplished rimfire Benchrest competitor, rifle builder, and designer of rimfire equipment, started his journey nine years ago to the day of the inaugural match and returns to Buck Creek to realize a dream. Vudoo Gun Works, known for their patented V-22 repeater platform, has become an industry leader in just a few short years and was asked to further support the Benchrest community by designing an action, the V-22S. Vudoo designed their repeater chamber around Lapua Center-X ammunition, which has continued to deliver an incredible level of consistency allowing many to push the envelope of rimfire. These three forces have combined to launch the BulletPro 150; a new approach to Rimfire Benchrest.
