World-renowned benchrest shooter and Team Lapua member Jack Neary secured a significant victory over the weekend of June 7th and 8th, taking first place at the Michigan State 2-Gun Benchrest Championship. The prestigious match was hosted by the Holton Gun and Bow Club in Holton, Michigan.
The Michigan State Championships, held at the well-known Holton Gun and Bow Club, featured intense competition in both Light Varmint and Heavy Varmint classes at 100 and 200 yards. The Holton Gun and Bow Club is a frequent host of precision shooting events, including Rimfire Challenges, various benchrest matches, and multi-gun shoots.
“I counted on a stout-load of stable-burning VihtaVuori N133 Powder, directed by Lapua’s .220 Russian Cartridge Cases and the use of Berger’s superior quality J4 Jackets for my custom Boat Tail bullets to generate the consistent small groups needed in both the Light and Heavy Varmint classes to earn the 2-Gun the win!” stated Neary. “Without the superior performance of these VihtaVuori, Lapua and Berger products, winning this coveted annual Michigan State Championship Benchrest match could not have been possible!”
Lapua extends its sincere congratulations to Jack Neary on his victory and looks forward to supporting his continued success.
