Sedalia, MO – Congratulations to Vihtavuori team member Otis White for his first-place finish at the 2022 April Spearpoint Ranch ELR Match. Under aggressive weather conditions, White had an outstanding score of 28,563 in the Lightweight division.
This year’s second Spearpoint Ranch ELR match took place April 23rd in Barnard, KS. The one-day match had shooters engaging targets from 2,000 to 4,000 plus yards. The Spearpoint series will continue through the month of September, with the Roundup Finale taking place September 17th and 18th.
“There were tough conditions this past weekend with 18-25 mph headwinds, yet I was able to land seven in a row,” commented White. “I had 2 out of 5 impacts at 2,073 yards and cleaned at 2,203 yards with a 5/5 performance. My Berger 300 Gr Elite Hunters with 24N41 Vihtavuori powder, paired with my 338 EnABLER originally built by the Applied Ballistics weapons division, made it happen!”
White will compete next at Spearpoint’s May ELR match.
