Sedalia, MO – SK Ammunition, manufacturers of high-quality .22 LR cartridges, is set to sponsor a side match during the 2021 Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP) National Championships.
SK has teamed up with SASP to sponsor a unique opportunity for competitive junior rimfire enthusiasts. Each competitor will have the opportunity to engage six targets at 50 feet in 10 seconds or less using Ruger 10/22s. The first 50 shooters to hit all six targets in less than 10 seconds will win free SK products.
The 2021 National Championships are going on now through July 17th at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, OH, and bring youth teams, sponsors and families together from across the United States. Over 1,750 youth shooters are participating during the events.
We’re excited to be part of the SASP National Championships,” stated Adam Braverman, Director of Sales and Marketing for SK. “Our side match is a great introduction to our SK ammunition and equipment many juniors will seek out as they progress in their competitive endeavors.”
Both the Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP) and Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) are part of the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF). The SSSF’s mission it to provide and enhance personal growth and development opportunities for student athlete members; become the premier authority in all things pertaining to firearm-related pursuits for youth; and pass on to future generations the legacy of lifelong, safe, and responsible enjoyment of the shooting sports.
