Team Vihtavuori has once again proved their precision and focus, earning a commendable second-place finish in the F-Open class at the highly competitive 2025 F-Class National Championship.
The team was comprised of Gwen Basalla, Matthew Basalla, Tracy Harrold, with Team Captain Norm Harrold. With coaching by Doug Skogman, their collective efforts culminated in an impressive grand aggregate score of 1578-66X, securing their well-deserved silver medal.
The 2025 F-Class National Championship, hosted by the Winnequah Gun Club in Lodi, Wisconsin, took place August 2nd to August 9th. The championship featured both F-Open and F-TR divisions, challenging competitors across a range of distances. Mid-range matches were contested at 600 yards, while the long-range events pushed the limits of precision at 800, 900, and 1000 yards.
Reflecting on the team’s performance, Norm Harrold commented, “Team Vihtavuori took silver after a hard-fought battle, in some tricky conditions that came down to X counts.”
